Community Profile for a search engine boost
Magnify Your Web Presence and Advertise Your Business with a Fizmo Community Profile
What's the best way to get found on the web? It's no secret that search engines like it when other sites link to yours. The more popular the site that links to you, the higher up your search results will appear. Fizmo lets you write a community profile telling about you or your business and even provides a link to your website. So be sure to create your profile. It's easy:
- First, log in.
- Click Your Account.
- Under
Account Settings , choose Change your public profile. - Let the world know about yourself with the About me section.
- If you have a website, put the address starting with www. under Website URL. If it starts with https:// instead of the customary http://, enter it, otherwise the http:// is not necessary. For example, www.fizmo.com. Leave this out if you don't have a website.
- Visit the formatting page to learn about special effects in your item description like emphasized text or links in your ad description.
- Put whatever you like under Website short name. That's what will show up in the actual link. For example, www.fizmo.com. Leave this out if you don't have a website.
- Click Save
- Now you can view your profile as others see it. Just click Your Account, then View Your Public Profile.
